Additions, Subtractions and Changes

This will be my last day in Maryland. In the morning, I have my TV interview with Good Morning Maryland at 8:30 and then I will head north through Pennsylvania and up to Bath, New York.

The past 2 days I have been frantically trying to find somewhere to stay for the next 10 days. No dogs allowed in cabins in Pennsylvania State Parks and although they are allowed in New York Parks, the cabins don't open until the end of May. Vacation rentals were my next choice, but they were either way too expensive or full. Sunny, someone I work with at The Green Polka Dot Box, introduced me to her brother Chris, who then introduced me to Willow from Peace Weavers. Willow is helping me to find people to host me this next week. Originally I thought I might head to Niagara Falls this weekend, but instead I will be attending a fasting retreat at the Peace Weavers Thunder Mountain Retreat Center in Bath, New York. I'm excited to see the beautiful countryside, to meet new people and to participate in this fasting weekend. From there I will head to Niagara Falls as it is so close by. After doing more research I am going to stay on the Canadian side; they say it's prettier and the hotel I picked is the closest hotel to the falls.The woman who helped me told me that 'everything is in bloom.'   I am also going to board Patch and Wilma for the 3 days I am in Niagara Falls....honestly, I need a break from doggies. I want to put on my gorgeous blue dress and gold heels, sit at a nice restaurant sipping something, look at Niagara Falls and not worry about dogs in the hotel room or dogs in the car or dog walks or feeding dogs. I love them, but I need a break. My hotel room which faces the falls, also has a jacuzzi tub! Heaven! Simple pleasures mean a lot to me...

There are new videos up on the site and more soon. Also, Erin and I have decided jointly to not have me go Delaware or Rhode Island. They share media markets with places where I will either go or have been and I feel I will have the region well represented with kids interviews. We have however, added Cleveland, Ohio to the media and kids interviews.

Clare, my student advisory member, is writing another article for us and is also sending out surveys. Yes...Thank you Clare! If anyone else can help with that please let me know.
