Interesting day...

I started out the day in Maryland and am now in Bath, New York via touring the beautiful countryside of Pennsylvania.

I don't take black and white on purpose...sometimes the little handle-thingy moves and I don't notice.

I packed up a lot of the car last night knowing I had to leave the room by 7:30 this morning to get to Baltimore for the interview on Good Morning Maryland. Megan did a great job and actually started out talking about Shine The Light...yeah!

Here is the link to the interview   http://tiny.cc/uuxq2

After it was over, I walked the dogs again and then we headed north to drive through Pennsylvania to get to Bath, New York where I thought (yes, 'thought' is past-tense) I would be staying at Peace Weavers. I was 3 hours on the road when the phone rang and my contact there thought I had the RV still and didn't want the dogs there..in other words, I am in a hotel in Bath. I am disappointed, but...(silver lining again) this is what happened 15 minutes after I got here. I checked into the room (much cheaper by the way and brand new) and then went to the car to walk the dogs before I took anything inside. We walked into a nice older neighborhood where they must have contests to see whose lawn is greener and the shortest. I met Luther and Mary Ruth and had a great chat. I mentioned that the very old church was so beautiful and Mary Ruth said it's kept locked because of the Tiffany glass inside. It's from 1806! Turns out she has the key and I am getting a private tour tomorrow. They also told me about Mossy Bank Park where the dogs and I can hike tomorrow. 15 minutes in town with 2 new friends! Very cool...

I am going to work on getting out more written surveys tomorrow. Sonoma State is anxiously waiting for them to start trickling in. There is never a need to find things to do, that's for sure...

I am also thinking that Mary Ruth and Luther might know some kids here and perhaps I will try to add some country New York kids.....

Watch for photos of Bath tomorrow...
