Niagara Falls..more photos from last night posted next morning

So first the photos, then the story...






So I dropped off Patch and Wilma this morning and headed to the border....

I was asked, do you have any fire arms, do you have any pepper spray or mace? No firearms, yes I have pepper spray, which I then proceeded to hand him, after lots of questions. Please make a sharp left and go inside-which I did of course. I suppose by carrying pepper spray, I was suspect. I explained I was traveling alone and my kid's felt better knowing I had it, no safety filter, blah, blah...

I went to 3 different people who asked me the same questions, 3 different ways. Here's the interesting one...so you had an assault and battery in 1995? No....May I have your social security number again please. Sure...no assault and battery? No...

I guess they decided I wasn't a risk and let me in Canada.

I then proceeded to the Marriott and tried to organize my Tupperware containers as best I could..funny. No bags, just Tupperware. I asked the valet if he needed my room number and his response was, 'Only if you want to give it to me'....I laughed and told him that was quick thinking, but no thank you...

I got myself organized and as I hadn't eaten anything today, made myself an early reservation for dinner. First of course, I had a walk to the Falls. Incredible! The surprising part was the lack of a thunderous noise. No one can explain why it's not louder considering the amount of water. I will look it up and figure it out. I must have a peculiar sense of curiosity.

So I wore my black dress tonight and black heels without a dog hair to be found! I was an early diner, so I had lots of attention. It was fun. I enjoyed a very nice,if not overpriced, dinner and now here I am. Tomorrow night I will have their signature dish, the Sea Bass. I will leave on Saturday morning, pick up my 4-legged friends and head back to Pennsylvania. I have kid's interviews and 3 media stops to make. Next is New Jersey, the New York. I am excited about New York!

That's it for now. I am going to throw on my jeans and sweater and go back to the falls. Gorgeous!
