A Room with a View...(later) more photos from today...

I liked the rustic little cabin I was in last night and the doggies and I both liked the woods behind the cabin-you could walk forever (well, seemed like it after being in cities lately.) There is a big, 'however' coming...no cell reception and spotty internet. That just doesn't work, so this morning I got up-at 5:15 as it was bright and sunny outside!-(earliest sunrise in the country say they and I now believe it)- drove into town and found a hotel on the water that wasn't too expensive that took dogs. Perfect! I am getting organized now, returning phone calls and emails from last night, then we'll go for a hike in Acadia National Forest -yeah!-been wanted to see this park for so many years! After that, I'll work on the videos from yesterday.

I have been collecting 'heart-rocks' for years and have a box of them in storage. Some are perfect hearts and others are a bit of a stretch, but I find myself glancing down looking for them occasionally. Yesterday I found 3..here they are.
I left these three next to each other under a tree outside of the cabin.

The view from my room.

Patch and Wilma hanging out....

I'll post more on this post later today...check back...

Later...
Oh my goodness-I should hike everyday! The ideas just kept popping into my head. Karen offered me some suggestions yesterday as to how I might 'tweak' some thought processes. She danced around me for a while, until I told her just to speak. I am really good at taking advice and goodness knows, I listen when people tell me I'm being -well, any number of things- from too hard on myself to stop being a jerk. I can take it! She then offered some very sound advice and sent me with a questionarrie to fill out and she will then analyze it for me and make suggestions. This is anything from attitude to business advice. She is an engineer, an MBA and an internationally certified business coach. I am going to give she and her clients nutrition advice. Bartering-love it!

I have had a lot of emails these past 2 days from people wanting to work with me and wanting to help. It's all so exciting!

In Acadia National Forest in Bar Harbor, Maine

I was chatting with my friend Gary when I came upon this beaver den and since he is Canadian and knows a little something about this subject, I was corrected-Beaver's live in lodges, not dens. I was probably far too excited about this pile of logs...

Goat cheese, beautiful greens and roasted beets. It was very good, but I would have preferred it with shaved, raw beets.

Taken from Main Street in Bar Harbor. So pretty. This is Sebastopol-East. Wooden toy stores, hemp clothing stores, candle sculptors and artists every where. No wonder I am at home here. The big difference is here you have this water all around that I LOVE!, but....you have 8 months of winter...I would like to hang out here in the summer sometime. Also an observation..I went to the grocery store yesterday and noticed that the largest section in the store was alcohol. It's crammed in every corner. Hum...

That's it for today...back to writing and organizing...
