Another....Quick RV update...update at the end of the day....

No, this isn't bad news..whew!

Kevin received confirmation that 'we' got the last set of correct decals for my RV. They were shipped overnight from Winnebago in Wisconsin this morning and will be here tomorrow morning (please, please, please...) Kevin said they will take an hour to put on. So...this afternoon at 3:00, after they are done detailing the inside, I will pack it all up! Kevin is having someone help gather up all my boxes and I will spend the next several hours repacking very carefully. Tonight I will organize all the stuff in my hotel room and as soon as I hear that it's ready in the morning, I will return the rental car, gather my furry friends, and start the drive to Kansas!

I am very excited that this is almost done, but I have to admit, St. Augustine feels like my second home. I think I should post a little tribute to St. Augustine and all that happened while I have been here-the four times since February! Later tonight...

So......(yes, so.....)

I head down to the RV place today and the 8 boxes I quickly packed several months ago were by the RV. I got to to work unpacking the boxes and repacking into the RV.. 3 hours later, all done! I still have a hotel room and rental car to pack, but the boxes were the biggest amount of work.

At 6:00, Kevin is still there and I asked him if he had checked the tracking on the decals-he hadn't. First I signed all the papers for him and then he pulls up the UPS web site and types in the tracking number. You see where this is going don't you?....Nothing shows up with the tracking number. I call UPS, give them the tracking number and they don't show a pick-up order. My decals are still in Wisconsin-really....

Kevin isn't so pleased with the woman who swore she did this, but obviously didn't. I was preternaturally calm (shades of old Anne Rice novels) I'm sure Kevin appreciated it. Even though he is off as of tomorrow (getting married on Saturday) he is personally following up in the morning. I will be there after my morning walk/run before it gets too hot to pack up all my other 'stuff.' The part-which weighs all of 1.6 pounds-will be here Friday morning and I will make it to Kansas-storms and tornadoes permitting-on Sunday night.
