Following the sunset

Well, I pulled out of St. Augustine this morning at about 10:00 after returning the rental car (I didn't vacuum it-I still feel bad about that) and doing all the other last minute stuff. I went back down to Camping World and they filled up the fresh water tank and a nice man whose name for some reason I can't remember (Jim?) gave me a tutorial on all the RV stuff-generators, and all that stuff I would rather not have to know about, but have to.

So I admit I was really nervous pulling out. I'm not good at backing up a regular car, much less an RV, but I went really slowly and used my mirrors-another thing I don't like to do. So, I get into it after a while. Feelin' good, getting in the groove. Well, I leave Florida and head into Alabama, but wasn't ready to stop, so I kept driving. At about 10:00 the doggies and I arrive in Tupelo, Mississippi at a Walmart parking lot. No more paying for hotels or places to park. We are at the back of the parking lot, under neath a burned out light (yeah!) We had a nice walk and after I figured out a generator problem, I am starting to wind down. For me it's 11:30, although I am now back to Central time-10:30.

Am I in Alabama or Mississippi? Who knows...

I am now in Mississippi.



Time for bed....who knows where I'll be tomorrow night...
