Beautiful Boulder and Kids! Onto Wyoming and now in Nebraska.

This is Josh and he is 14 years old. He was funny. Do you think you're healthy? No. Why aren't you healthy? I'm lazy. I cracked up. Honesty. Kids generally are. Most likely why I like kids so much!
Ryan is 16 and said some really interesting things. Be sure to watch the videos when they are posted in about a week. He said there is a bumper sticker he's seen around town that says: Beef! It's in your colon. (you know instead of beef, it's what for dinner.) Again, I cracked up. Good to laugh. As usual there were some very interesting and insightful comments.
This is almost 6 year-old Leilani. She was so cute and very talkative. You can't help but be in a good mood after you watch her video.
The field behind Marilyn's house in Boulder. Patch and Wilma loved it! My vet wasn't sure Patch would make it this whole trip, but he's doing great!
The view towards to Rockies from the field. Gorgeous.
Ah! The western look-hard to beat....
How beautiful...
One little foal was about a week old-so sweet!
This tree really wanted a hug. So did I.
My old buddy.
In Wyoming now. This is a buffalo (not a real one, of course)
Now in Nebraska. I liked how they keep some fields fallow and some planted. Good farming practices-nice to see.
This is Kimble, Nebraska. I had a ways to go still and was suddenly feeling a little sleepy, so stopped for coffee. Most of the town was boarded up buildings. I stopped in a local coffee/sandwich shop and the woman who helped me had dreadlocks. Talk about a juxtaposition. I loved it!
I passed a lot of Quonset huts
Almost to Scottsbluff (one word I have discovered) Nebraska. The bluffs were really pretty.
So tomorrow I am supposed to interview some kids in foster homes. Please, please let it happen! These things can be a little iffy. Mona, my contact, seems to think she can pull it off. After that, it's on to South Dakota. More soon!
